MENLO PARK, CALIFORNIA / RankWire.AI / – Meta has unveiled Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full, a new series of sophisticated artificial intelligence models designed for advanced software development, AI agents, and complex everyday functions. These systems are capable of assisting with activities such as managing leases, processing insurance claims, handling financial data, and developing applications. Meta launched Muse Wonder via its Model API and Muse Code on October 12, with Muse Wonder Full becoming accessible to users holding eligible Muse Code subscriptions.

The new models are tailored for multi-step tasks rather than single-response queries. Muse Wonder can organize workflows, utilize digital tools, and allocate larger projects among specialized sub-agents. Furthermore, it seamlessly operates across browsers, desktop applications, and mobile devices. Designed to be resilient, the system can recover from failures in chosen approaches. It supports context windows of about one million tokens, enabling it to analyze large documents, extensive codebases, and other sizable materials within a single session.
Meta also introduced features called Active Memory and Active Focus alongside the Wonder models. Active Memory maintains relevant details from previous conversations and retrieves them as needed. Active Focus allows an AI agent to persist through complex problems and adapt its strategy after encountering errors. The models are capable of requesting clarification if instructions lack critical details or seeking confirmation before executing sensitive or significant actions. These enhancements aim to facilitate longer work sessions without requiring users to restart tasks repeatedly.
Meta’s latest models enhance AI agent and coding functionalities
Pricing for Muse Wonder is set at $4 per million input tokens via the Meta Model API. Output tokens cost $20 per million, while cached input tokens are priced at $0.20 per million. Instead of separate API charges, Meta offers Muse Wonder Full through paid Muse Code plans. The company provides a Power Usage plan at $50 per month, and a Maximum Usage plan at $200 per month, targeted at developers requiring extensive access for heavier coding workloads.
Meta has published benchmark results for software engineering, coding agents, and lengthy technical tasks, showcasing the models’ capabilities. Notable tests included DeepSWE and SWE-Marathon, with Artificial Analysis evaluating both models at maximum reasoning effort. Muse Wonder received an Intelligence Index score of 52, while Muse Wonder Full scored 56. These scores surpass Meta’s previous Muse Spark models on the evaluator’s scale, indicating a significant improvement in reasoning performance.
Safety and privacy measures accompany the rollout
Meta emphasizes that the Wonder models incorporate safeguards to protect privacy, prevent harmful requests, and ensure cybersecurity. They are trained to avoid disclosing private information without user consent and to reject requests involving harmful activities, while still supporting legitimate security functions. Developers can utilize these models to identify vulnerabilities in their own software and enhance protective measures. Meta assesses its most advanced AI systems under its Superintelligence Scaling Framework and intends to publish further details regarding safety testing for the new models.
This release follows a major restructuring of Meta’s artificial intelligence initiatives that began approximately 14 months ago. The company states that Muse Wonder builds upon the technical foundations established through Muse Spark. Development utilized computing resources from Meta’s Prometheus data center. Additionally, Meta plans to integrate Muse Wonder technology into more features within the Muse ecosystem, starting with subscribers. Currently, developers can access Muse Wonder, while Muse Wonder Full remains available through qualifying Muse Code subscription plans.
